Review, Review, Review!

That's what we've been doing this week, getting ready for Core Testing. I'm so proud of our class! We have been hard at work, reviewing all that we've learned this year in 2nd grade and I expect everyone to do their best next week. I think we're all ready for school to be out!

We'll begin Testing next Tuesday the 5th, so make sure your child has a good night's rest starting Monday night and a good breakfast each morning. It's important to have good brain food to begin the day!

A Note About Core Testing

We have learned much to our relief, that 2nd grade will not have online end-of-year testing this year. This will allow the 2nd grade teachers more time to cover core concepts. We have set testing dates, May 4-8. I ask that your child not miss any school if possible since we will be heavily reviewing math and language art concepts during the month of April.
