Rocks Have Got to Wait!

We learned today that we will begin core testing April 27th. Our testing this year will be online and I expect things to go well. Since there are only 7 weeks until testing, we will be focusing on math and language arts instruction. This means that our rock projects will have to wait until after testing. This actually works out better since most of the rocks are still burried under inches of snow! I know the kids were excited, but like all good things, they'll just have to wait!

CALLING ALL ROCK HOUNDS!!!!

We are learning about rocks in science and your child needs to gather a collection of rocks...no more than 5. Put them in a clear Ziploc bag with your child's name on it and have them bring them to school by February 24th. Please, no store purchased rocks.

Hat Day & End of the Month Party!

This Friday will be our end of the month party for January. Students can bring their favorite board game or card game (such as Uno, Old Maid, etc.) to play.

February is school spirit month and this Friday is crazy hat day. Find your craziest hat and wear it to school!
